School Involvement

Westminster prides itself on giving our students the opportunity to participate in many traditional “school” activities. Additionally, we encourage full family involvement at many of our events.

  • Families have the option to attend Field Trips on Fridays. Our Committee plans 2-3 Friday trips per month. Past trips have included:

    • Polyface Farm

    • Luray Caverns

    • Hanover Vegetable Farm

    • Virginia Holocaust Museum

  • Founded and led by a parent representative, the Family Nature Club meets twice a month for hands-on nature study for all ages.

  • The annual Talent Show features acts by students of all ages. Past acts include singing, dancing, instrumental selections, and acting.

  • In April, students from across the school participate in our Student Showcase. Highlights include science fair presentations, student art galleries, and announcement of writing contest winners, plus much more!

  • Parent Support is provided through different engagement opportunities. Events have included: College & Career Readiness Panel and Parent Dinner & Discussion.

  • Our Graduation Ceremony is a cherished event for our seniors and their families. Held at West End Assembly of God, graduates are awarded their diplomas in a traditional ceremony.
