Our middle school is a place where students begin to take ownership of their education as they “learn how to learn” with the support and nurture of parents and teachers. Students notice a shift to more serious study, independence, and responsibility; however, they are not alone in their pursuits. Within their classes, students are taught how to become engaged thinkers through notetaking, scaffolded writing instruction, projects, and presentations.
